About My Art:

In Dan's work he deals with his own personal desire to seek freedom from globalization and all the negative aspects that come with it. He portrays this through the use of images of Native Americans and other people that the artist considers to represent true freedom. In his eyes they represent some thing important that we have lost in our modern day world, that has been replaced with fear, paranoia and greed. Dan hopes to help people cut the strings so to speak through his art work and illustrations.

TWOONE

TWOONE was born in 1985 Yokohama, Japan. He grew up in Yokohama. Lives and works in Melbourne.

Drawing and crafting have been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. He gained an early interest in art though skate board graphic and graffiti culture. As soon as TWOONE moved to Melbourne, He quickly became a prominent part of the local street art scene that was rapidly growing at the time. In 2008 TWOONE became well noticed from “One Thousand can show” that his first solo show with one thousand of individually hand painted Spray cans. Now he is expending his field to painting, Mural painting, sculpture, and live performances to sound installations.

ESP Gallery

ESP gallery in Marricakville is all about seizing opportunities and going for it. In 2009 a group of emerging artists took an opportunity to have a gallery space in Marrickville – an up and coming art district of Sydney’s inner west and nearly a year on this artist run initiative is providing gallery spaces for emerging artists at an affordable cost.
